Here you will find a time plan for a great Sunday Roast,follow these step by step guidlines and  you too will be able to impress your family and friends .

Roast Chicken with Crunchy stuffing and Bacon Rolls

Crispy roast potatoes

Braised peas with leeks

Glazed Carrots with lemon

Apple and berry crumble

Quick clotted cream

In advance on the day;

Make te apple and berry crumble

Make the crunchy stuffing and bacon

Prepere the potatoes for the roasties

and put them in a pan of salted water ,ready for cooking

Clean and slice the leeks

Prepare the carrots

Prepare the chicken and set aside somewhere cool

Time plan for a 1pm Lunch

11.30am Pre-heat oven to 200c/400f/Gas mark 6

Bring the pan of potatoes to the boil and cook for just 7 minutes ,then drain .

11.40am Put the chicken into roast

11.55am Heat the oil for the roast

12.00pm Drain the potatoes ,turn into the tin and roast

12.30pm Cook the crunchy stuffing and bacon rolls

12.45pm Cook the carrots,Start to cook the leeks  for the peas

12.50pm Transfere the chicken to a board ,cover with foil and leave to rest.

12.55pm Add the peast o the leeks and finixh .

1pm Serve Lunch

Put the crumble in to the oven to cook

1.40pm Remove the ice cream from the freezer and soften before serving

*Lay the table as soon as you can so the job is out of the way
